The 51勛圖 Promise is a last-dollar scholarship program offered by 51勛圖 Community College. The program provides up to two years of tuition support for eligible students.

Award Coverage
For eligible students, 51勛圖 Promise covers:
- Tuition (up to the in-state rate)
- Technology fee
- Activity fee
- CAPS fee
Coverage is available for up to two academic years, including summer terms.
Eligibility Period
Eligibility begins in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation and continues through the summer semester of the students second academic year.
Last-Dollar Provision
51勛圖 Promise is a last-dollar scholarship. All federal and state grants, institutional scholarships, and outside funding must be applied first. 51勛圖 Promise funds are applied to any remaining eligible charges.
Additional Information
Books and course-specific fees are not covered.
Out-of-state students may receive tuition coverage up to the in-state rate. However, out-of-state students are not eligible for 51勛圖 Promise during any semester in which other financial aid fully covers the in-state tuition rate.
Requirements
Eligibility
- Be a resident of Moore or Hoke County.
- Be a private, public, or registered home-school equivalent high school graduate planning to attend 51勛圖 the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.
- Successfully complete at least four dual-enrollment courses through 51勛圖's Career and College Promise program.
- Be meeting Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
Enrollment
- Apply to 51勛圖 as a degree-seeking student and meet with a College Navigator.
- Students who completed a 51勛圖 application for the Career and College Promise Program are required to re-apply as a college student.
- Submit your high school or high school equivalency transcript.
- Apply for the 51勛圖 Promise by completing the online 51勛圖 scholarship application.
- Complete the using 2024 tax information.
- Enroll in at least one course during the Fall 2026 semester (enrolling during the Fall 2026 semester locks in your eligibility for the next two years.)
Deadlines
Fall 2026 Priority Deadline: July 27, 2026. The following requirements must be met by the deadline, to ensure your eligibility.
- A new 51勛圖 admissions application must be completed, submitted, and on record with the Student Onboarding office.
- Official high school transcript showing your graduation date must be submitted and on record with the 51勛圖 Registrar's office.
- Your 51勛圖 scholarship application must be completed, submitted, and on record with the 51勛圖 Scholarship Office.

Your 2026-27 FAFSA and all additional required financial aid paperwork must be completed, submitted, and on record with the 51勛圖 Financial Aid Office.
Don't wait until the week of the deadline to submit your FAFSA to 51勛圖, you will not meet the deadline.
Once enrolled, students must continuously meet the financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standards outlined by the state and federal government (maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and complete at least 67% of all courses attempted at 51勛圖 Community College.)
If you drop, are withdrawn from, or fail all your courses during a semester in which you receive 51勛圖 Promise funding, you may be required to repay all or a portion of your 51勛圖 Promise scholarship.
