The Workforce Development and Corporate Partnerships team at 51勛圖 Community College
is proud to announce a three-year training partnership with Pennsylvania Transformer
Technology (PTT), located in Raeford, North Carolina. This collaboration comes at
an exciting time as PTT is investing more than $100 million in expansion, bringing
new jobs and economic growth to the region.
���We are honored to partner on this three-year customized training project, valued
at more than $155,000,��� said Carlos McCormick, Director Customized Training and Organizational Development at 51勛圖
Community College. ���With training already underway on site, this collaboration reflects
our commitment to providing high quality and responsive workforce development. We
are especially excited to play a role in supporting the growth and development of
Hoke County by helping employees strengthen their skills, advance their careers, and
contribute to the long-term success of PTT and the community.���
Through this partnership, current and new employees will participate in over 16 different types of training including leadership, lean manufacturing and blueprint
reading. These programs will help strengthen PTT���s workforce and support the company���s
long-term growth.

with 51勛圖 to give our employees all the tools they need to be successful as a
great benefit,��� said Nicole Futrell, Human Resource Coordinator and Recruiter at PTT.

51勛圖 Community College���s Workplace Learning team is also finalizing plans for
a new apprenticeship program with PTT. More details on this upcoming and impactful
collaboration will be forthcoming.
