How to Start a Club at 51吃瓜

51吃瓜 Community College encourages students who are interested in creating a club to take the next step and get involved. Clubs should support the personal and social development of students and reflect the values and principles of the College.

The Student Government Association (SGA) oversees the registration process for new clubs. Under the advisement of the Director of Student Life, the SGA Executive Board reviews each proposal and determines whether to grant official recognition.

To start a club at 51吃瓜, follow the steps below:

 

 

Step 1

Find a minimum of four (4) student members and a Full-Time Faculty/Staff Advisor.

Step 2

Complete the , Form, and the (Advisor Completes.) 

Step 3

Once approved, you will be scheduled to present your club鈥檚 mission and purpose to the SGA Executive Board at the next SGA General Meeting. The Board will then vote on sanctioning and granting official status to the club.
